Dexus could not understand what drove people to cheat. One day, he met an ICO lottery dealer who insisted that everyone wins in his lottery! Oh, what a mistake Dexus made that day, trusting this rogue. His last bread money was gone. "Better luck next time!" said the stranger, looking at the frustrated face of the little Marnotaur. But there would be no next time.

Dexus remembered well the coldest winter of his life. The hardest part was not losing faith. Alas, not everyone was able to make it through the blizzards and snowdrifts. Even those that succeeded were soon tempered by the icy gusts of wind. Despite his frail appearance, Dexus was one of the few survivors.

The first test on Dexus' path was Ethereum - the ancient Dark Forest. Legends saying, it was Ethereum where life was born and it energizes the whole world. Marnotaur knew that in order to know yourself, you need to face your fears. Therefore, Dexus boldly stepped towards adventure, not realizing what dangers await him ahead.

The Dark Forest is full of traps and dangers. On the path, Dexus met many dangerous creatures but the most fierce enemy of all was the Hydra. He knew that this mighty symbol and embodiment of Centralization had to be slayed. Otherwise, there could be no talk of freedom. Fighting off the deadly attacks from the snake's many heads, chopping them down one by one, Dexus hacked out a path to Decentralization!

From a young age, Dexus learned to accumulate his profits. He knew it took patience and perseverance to achieve anything great. In the Dark Forest, our Marnotaur found a cave with a magic altar. Whatever was laid on it, was doubled! Thus, Dexus had found a way to generate the resources to fight the fortress inhabitants and change the world, once and for all!

Faced with some difficult challenges, Dexus felt the urge to become stronger. Having fallen into one of the many scorpion pools, the brave Marnotaur almost fell prey to these terrible creatures. Though he managed to escape with his life, his armor and treasures for staking were gone. The time for his rebirth had come.

Marnotaur legend tells of a sacrificial ritual that the strongest warriors would practice. They would enter the mouth of a volcano to be reborn and become even more powerful! If you were worthy, the lava would not burn you - it would instead harden you like metal. But if you held any doubt or fear in your heart, the volcano would incinerate your body. The risk was very great indeed, but so too was the reward. Without the slightest hesitation, Dexus jumped off the edge.

Lava enveloped his entire body but did not burn him. A lake of flames raged all about him and Dexus bathed in it as if he was taking a warm bath. He felt the magma flowing through his veins and the ancient power of the volcano fill up his body! The volcano had willingly shared its powers. Weak Dexus was no more. Dexus 2.0 was here!

After traversing the entire Dark Forest fighting dangerous beasts, making new allies and being reborn inside a volcano, Dexus was ready to build a new and fair society! Gathering an army of like-minded Marnos, he set out to build his own fortress... whose name would be "DeFi".

The Marnotaur army, led by Dexus, fought against injustice. They had achieved an honorable victory on the battlefield! After passing through many difficulties and defeating countless enemies, Dexus and his brothers built a new fortress - DeFi - a stronghold of Equality. This magnificent structure was raised up through the combined efforts of free Marnotaurs. But Dexus sensed that something was missing.

Success had been achieved but it did not bring an end to Dexus' work. His thirst for knowledge and excellence pushed him towards new research. During one of his expeditions to Ethereum, Dexus found another cave, this time with a mystical capsule inside. He was struck by the amazing object. Dexus felt an impulse to climb inside, taking another step towards the great unknown.

When Dexus opened his eyes, the Dark Forest had disappeared. He was looking at a completely different planet, with new challenges for the Marnotaurus army. The era of cosmic conquests had begun!
